Léo-Paul Bourque, 69, of Dieppe passed away suddenly at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015.
Born in Scoudouc, NB, he was the son of the late François and the late Elvina (née: Babineau) Bourque.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Gérène (née: Breau) Bourque; his mother-in-law, Dorice Breau of Dieppe; one sister, Antoinette (Bernard) Poirier, of Moncton; his nieces: Charline Poirier, Nadine Poirier, Lynne Poirier and Natalie Wiggins.
Before his retirement, he was employed with Correctional Services. He was a very courageous man and he liked playing cards with his buddies.
Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Friday, March 6th, 2015 at 10:30 am.
In memory of Léo-Paul, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Né à Scoudouc, N.-B., il était fils de feu François et de feu Elvina (née Babineau) Bourque.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Gérène (née Breau) Bourque; sa belle-mère, Dorice Breau, de Dieppe; sa sœur, Antoinette (Bernard) Poirier, de Moncton; ses nièces: Charline Poirier, Nadine Poirier, Lynne Poirier et Natalie Wiggins.
Avant sa retraite, il était à l’emploi de Services Correctionnels Canada. Homme courageux, il aimait jouer aux cartes avec ses amis.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, (N.-B.) (857-1901) le jeudi de 19h à 21h.
La messe des funérailles aura lieu en l’église Saint-Anselme à Dieppe, N.-B., le vendredi 6 mars 2015, à 10h 30.
