Léonard Hébert

Léonard Hébert, 69, of Dieppe, passed away on Thursday November 24, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.

Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of Marguerite (née: Lavoie) and the late André Hébert.

Mr. Hébert had retired from Lewis Enterprise, he had a passion for wood carving, was a member of the Moncton Carvers Guild, the Southeastern Shuffleboard Assoc. and a parishioner at Ste.- Thérèse R.C.C.

Besides his mother, Marguerite Hébert of Dieppe, he is survived by his wife, Gertrude (née Chiasson); two sons: Jacques (Linda) of Quispamsis and Michael (Kathy Poirier) of Rothsay; three sisters: Elisabeth (late John) Malenfant of Moncton, Victoria (Alfred) Cormier of St.-Paul and Rolande (Normand) Roy of Dieppe; three grandchildren: Melissa, Nicholas and Amanda as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his father, Mr. Hébert was predeceased by one brother Roland.

No visitation by request of the family. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Tuesday, November 29th, 2005 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Funeral arrangement entrusted to Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901)

No Flowers Accepted, donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation “Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
