Lorraine Babineau, 75, of Saint-Louis de Kent, passed away at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Monday April 28th, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Born in Saint- Basile, on August 31st, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Paul and the late Rose-Anna (Lavoie) Thériault.
Lorraine leaves to mourn, her husband Antoine, her daughter Chantal Gaudet (Marcel) of Haut Aboujagane and her granddaughter Carlynn. She is also survived by three brothers; Hervé (Normande) of Saint-Basile, Robert (Jeannine), Armand (Jeanne D’Arc) both of Laval, Quebec and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one brother, Omer.
Lorraine was the Avon Representative in Saint-Louis de Kent for several years and was also a member of the Saint-Louis de Kent Golden Age Club.
Visitation will be held at the Thompson’s Memorial Home in Saint-Louis de Kent on Thursday May 1st, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis de Kent on Friday May 2nd, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In Lorraine’s memory the family would prefer donations to the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital Foundation, in lieu of flowers.
