Rogersville, NB – Lorraine Gallant, 91, formerly of Haute-Aboujagane, NB, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Hospital, Miramichi, NB after a short illness on Wednesday, June 26th, 2013. She was the wife of the late Alban Gallant.

Born in Haute-Aboujagane, NB, she was the daughter of the late Donat and the late Prémélia LeBlanc (nee Boudreau).

Lorraine will be sadly missed by her five daughters, Jeannita (Adrien), Rita (Gérald), Bertha (Samuel), Diana (Freddy) & Délina (Gilles); her six sons, Alvérie (Jeannette), Ulysse (Donna), Camille, Joseph, Alfred (Florence) & Laurie (Francine); her daughter-in-law, Bardena; her sister-in-law, Florine Gallant; her twenty seven grandchildren; her twenty seven great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Alban (1987), Lorraine was predeceased by her son, Calixte; her granddaughter, Lisa; her four sisters; Délina Frigault, Sara Landry, Olive Gallant & Hélèna Robichaud; her two brothers, Maurice & Joseph.

In keeping with Lorraine`s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held at the Sacré-Coeur RC Church in Haute-Aboujagane, NB on Monday, July 1st, 2013 at 11:00am, burial will take place at the parish cemetery.
