Lorraine Gauvin, 83, of Dieppe, passed away on Sunday, November 20th, 2005 at her residence. Born in Fox Creek, NB, she was the daughter of the late Zacharie and the late Celestina (née: LeBlanc) Gauvin.
Mrs. Gauvin was an avid sport enthusiast, she took great pride in the Montréal Canadians hockey team, she enjoyed playing cards and was a parishioner of St. Anselme R.C.C.
Mrs. Gauvin is survived by one sister, Elmini Gauvin of Villa du Repos, formerly Dieppe; two brothers: Edgar (late Eva) of Moncton and Normand (Leoline) of Dieppe as well as several nieces and nephews in which she took great pride.
Beside her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers: Eddy and Emery and also by one half- sister Bella.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2005 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from St.-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2005 at 11 am. Interment in St.-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB
