Shediac, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Lorraine Léger, aged 89, at Villa Providence, Shediac, on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024.
A native of Grande-Digue, she was the daughter of the late Arsène Gallant and the late Rosalie (Donelle) Gallant.
Lorraine’s memory will be treasured by her devoted children, Réjean (Joline) of St-Gregroire, and Gisèle Léger of Southborough, Mass; her adored grandchildren: Joshua, Jessica, Emilie, and Miguel; her beloved brothers: Lévis (Marguerite), Léon-Paul (Marie-Paule), Lucien (Rachel), Léonce (Bernice), and Laurent (Denise) all of Grande-Digue; her sister, Léa Girouard (Aldérie) of Grande-Digue, her brother-in-law, Yvon Despres of Bouctouche; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her cherished sisters, Louise Gallant(Arthur) of Grande-Digue and Lucie Despres.
Visitation will be held from Passage Funeral Cooperative, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB, E4R 1T1, 506-532-1050, on Friday, July 12th, from 1 to 2:15 pm only. Funeral mass will be held from La Visitation RC Church, Grande-Digue, on Friday, July 12th at 2:30 pm.
Donation in Lorraine’s memory may be made to Pépère Boîte à Lunch.
