Cocagne, NB – Lorraine Richard, 86, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, December 4, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Notre-Dame, NB, she was the daughter of the late Jude and Bertha LeBlanc.
Lorraine will be sadly missed by her husband, Adélard; her son, Charles (Debbie) of Moncton; her two daughters, Murielle Cormier (Eugène Gautreau) of Memramcook and Francine Léger (Omer) of Cocagne; her two brothers, Normand LeBlanc (Irène) of Moncton and Yvon LeBlanc (Thérèse) of Notre-Dame; her sister, Edith Melanson (late Raymond) of Moncton; her eight grandchildren, Stéphane, Marc, Micheline, Mathieu, Julie, Marc-André, Shelby and Devin; her ten great grandchildren, Mélanie, Nadia, Janie, Patrick, Yanic, Mia, Audrey, Zoé, Chloé and Kaylee; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Maurice; three brothers, Alfred, René and Edgar; two sisters, Dora and Annie.
Visitations will be at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church slumber room in Cocagne on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 10 am until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11 am.
