Louis A. Richard,79, of Dieppe, and formerly of King Street, Moncton passed away on Monday, November 14th, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Alphée and the late Eva (née: LeBlanc) Richard.
Louis was a long time employee of Surette Drug on Main St. where he met his beloved wife. He retired from Ford’s Pharmacy on St. George St. in 1993.
His great passion over the years, especially in retirement was to spend time at his summer residence at Cap de Cocagne with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived and will be sadly missed by three sons: Roland (Jeannette) and Jean (Louise Beaulieu), both of Dieppe and Guy (Debra) of Moncton; two daughters: JoAnn of Fredericton and Yvette of Saint John; three sisters: Colombe Babineau and Clémentine Richard, both of Moncton and Phyllis Léger of Aylmer, QC; two brothers: Léo (Mai) and Guy (Lina), both of Moncton; six grandchildren: Yves, Danielle, Pierre, Luc, Serge and François as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Richard was predeceased by his wife Dorina in 1971 and also by one brother Gérard.
By personal request there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be celebrated at the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, November 18th, 2005 at 11am.
