Louis-Marcel Goguen, 72 of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, following a brief illness.
Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of late Léonide Goguen (1975) and the late Henriette Richard Goguen (1996). Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister: Gracia Goguen-Gaudet (2022), and his nephew: Paul Goguen (2009).
He is survived by his brother: Jean-Paul Goguen; his sister-in-law: Anna Goguen and his brother-in-law: Georges Gaudet.
He had been under the wonderful care of MCRI for the past 32 years. The family will forever be grateful to the staff of MCRI over the years, especially his caretakers, Donna Duguay and recently, Geraldine Hopper.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton, NB, on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 1pm to 1:50pm. Celebration of life will be held at the chapel at 2pm.
Burial will be at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe with his parents at a later date.

I have worked with Marcel for a number of years and am so sorry for his passing. He was a loveable person and I will never forget him. He will be dearly missed.
