Shediac Bridge, NB – Louise Lavoie, 56, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, July 18, 2016.

Born in Memramcook, NB, she was the daughter of late Charles-Auguste and Yvonne (Robichaud) Léger.

Louise was a woman with a big heart and she had a contagious joy for life. She devoted her time to others. She enjoyed the small simple things in life. Louise lived for her three children and her husband that she loved so much. Her smile will be greatly missed.

Louise will be sadly missed by her husband, Jean-Charles; her son, Ghislain Lavoie (Monique) of Moncton; her two daughters, Karine Lavoie (Brian Gallant) of Dieppe and Kristine Lavoie (Marc Richard) of Greater Lakeburn; her two brothers, Luc (Lucia) of Moncton and Rodrigue (Micheline) of Memramcook; her three sisters, Huguette Cyr (Laurel) of Moncton, Francine Albert (Gérard) of Caraquet and Pauline Léger (Helen Ringer) of Edmonton, AB; her mother-in-law, Violette Lavoie of Shediac; her sister-in-law, Charline Dupuis (Bobby) of Memramcook and her brother-in-law, Mario Lavoie (Hélène) of Dieppe; her close aunt, Jeannita Lavoie of Moncton; her three nieces, Anne Cyr, Josée Brown and Melanie Winter; her nephew, Simon Albert; the three family dogs, Viggo, Lia and Blaze.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her father in-law, Gerry.

In respect to Louise’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A private ceremony will be held at a later date for the immediate family.

Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Palliative care) or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
