Louise (Marguerite) LeBlanc

Moncton, NB – Louise (Marguerite) LeBlanc, 77, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Saturday, January 11, 2014, after a brief illness.

Born in Cap-Pelé, NB on September 5, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Thomas and the late Ruby (Brien) Burke.

She and her husband of fifty-six years enjoyed their precious time in Caissie Cape where they started their lives together. They spent several winters in Florida and did many memorable special trips with their grandchildren. She loved and had a great passion for her work in the Apt. Rentals family business (LeBlanc and Son Apt. Rentals). She was very generous and really liked to show her love by preparing meals for her family and friends. She was a volunteer at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre for the Tree of Hope fund raising, also volunteered with her husband for Meals on Wheels for twenty-seven years.

Louise will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Aldérice LeBlanc; her three sons, Donald (Lynda) of Beloeil, QC, Marc (Lorraine) of Grand-Barachois and Peter (Lynette) of Moncton; her two sisters, Kay Harris (Darrel) of St. John and Phyllis-Ann Smallwood (Robert) of Fredericton; her two sisters-in-law, Florence Haché (late Albert) of Moncton and Lina Badman (Martin) of Moncton; her two brothers-in-law, Clarence LeBlanc of Boston and Alan Miller of Moncton; her nine grandchildren, Dominic, David, Nicolas, Julien, Janique, Catherine, Michael, Luke and Corina; her seven great grandchildren, Annabelle, Véronique, Théo, Danica, Zoé, Brady and Skyler; also by several cousins, aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister-in-law, Marie-Anne Miller.

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, January 15 from 2:30 to 4:30 and 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday, January 16 from 12:30 pm until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at the Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, January 16 at 1 pm.
