In Loving Memory Of
Louise Roy
1948 - 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louise Roy, 75, on Sunday, October 29th, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, after a brief illness.

Born in Dieppe, she was the daughter of the late Clément and the late Jeannette Roy (Malenfant).

Louise will be sadly missed by her children: Mathieu Roy (Audrey Richard) of Dieppe and Isabelle Roy (Chris Roy) of Moncton; her beloved grandchildren: Clayton Roy, Caden Roy, Lennon Roy and Élodie Roy; her siblings: Sylvia Roy of Montreal, QC, Jean-Guy Roy (Suzanne Caron) of Cupertino, CA, Denise Roy (Denis Rioux) of Dieppe and Suzanne Roy of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC; her nephews: Nicolas Rioux, Samuel Corriveau, Eric Rioux, Simon Corriveau and Dominic Rioux; her nieces: Emilie Roy, Michelle Roy and Josée Rioux; her good friends: Fernande Caissie and Rhéal Hebert ; also by several great nephews, great nieces and aunts.

Louise was a social worker for the province of NB and after her retirement she operated a booth at the Dieppe Farmer’s Market called “Les Biscuits à Ma Tante”.

As per Louise’s wishes, visitation will be at Passage-Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB E1A 1G1 (506-857-1901), on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 1pm until 3pm. There will be no funeral.

In memory of Louise, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.

  1. Mes sincères condoléances à toute la famille et en particulier à Isabelle et Chris que je connais mieux par amitié de longue date. Certes il est difficile de ne plus pouvoir cotoyer celle que l’on aime, une mère hors-paire pour plusieurs. Il faut savoir qu’elle continue d”occuper une place bien tendre dans nos coeurs.

  6. Oh my! I bumped into Pitou and Paulette today who mentioned Louise had left us.
    I lived on St Therese and we grew up together. She lived next door to my Aunt and Uncle Adelyre and Aurore Cormier.
    I would like to offer my sincere and deepest sympathy to all of her family.
