Lucie Manuel
1951 ~ 2025

Dieppe, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lucie Manuel, 73, on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Moncton Albert Hospice House.

Born in Étang-du-Nord, Îles-de-la-Madeleine, she was the daughter of the late Évé LeBlanc and the late Évangeline LeBlanc.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Guy Manuel; her children: Sophie MacDonald (Norman) of Stratford, PEI, and David Manuel (Victoria) of Baie-de-Bouctouche; her four grandchildren: Gabrielle, Blake, Dylan, and Leah; her two brothers: Guy (Marthe) of Moncton and Denis (Marie-Dina) of Montreal; her three sisters: Irene and Claudette of Étang-du-Nord and Juliette of Montreal; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Sylvia.

Visitation will be held at Passage-Chartersville Funeral Home (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Wednesday, October 15, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. only, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will take place at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe.

Donations in memory of Lucie may be made to Moncton Albert Hospice House, Meals on Wheels, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

  2. Our memories of Lucie will always be be that of a very intelligent lady with quick wit. Lucie was very personable had a great sense of humour. Guy, family and friends please accept our condolences. Mike and Elizabeth Ewert.

  4. We were so saddened to hear about Lucie’s passing. She was a quiet, giving person who generously volunteered her time as Secretary with the Ostomy Moncton Chapter for a number of years. Our members would like to express our very sincere condolences to the family. No words can really help ease the loss, but may the family find comfort and strength in their memories.
