Lucie Melanson, 87, of Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Saint-Anselme, went very peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, April 11th, 2009.
Born in Saint-Anselme, NB, on July 9, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Arthur P. LeBlanc and the late Alice Bourgeois LeBlanc.
She was saved by the grace of God on November 17, 1985. She was a Christian in the Assembly gathered unto the name of the Lord Jesus-Christ in Shediac, NB (Salle de l’Evangile).
She is survived by her daughter Alice Feifer (Johann) of Dieppe; her eight sons: Leonard (Jeannette) of Moncton, Emery (Angela) of Scoudouc, Arthur of Moncton, Donald (Denise) of Dieppe, Yvon (Claudette) of Dieppe, Omer (Doreen) of Dieppe, Eugene of Dieppe, Paul of Grand Falls; nine grandchildren: Mark (Ginette) Feifer, Michael (Marcy) Melanson, Normand, Charles, Janice (David) Richard, Nadine (Martin) Daigle, Luc Melanson, Mark Melanson, Alex Melanson; five great grandchildren: Brandon Feifer, Alexa Feifer, Robin Melanson, Isabel Daigle, Sophie Daigle. Also survived by one sister-in-law, Anna LeBlanc of Shediac and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond in 1996 two sisters Dauphine(late Fred) Gauvin and Ida (late Joseph) Gauvin; three brothers: Souverain, Blair and Emery.
Resting at Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (506) 857-1901, on Monday April 13, 2009 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 and also on Tuesday from 1 pm until time of service.
Funeral service will be held at the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday April 14th, 2009 at 2 pm.
Interment in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.

Son époux, Raymond en 1996; deux soeurs: Dauphine et Ida ainsi que trois frères: Souverain, Blair et Emery l’ont précédés dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, NB.(857-1901), le lundi de 14 à 16 h et de 19 à 21 h ainsi que le mardi de 13h jusqu’au funérailles. Les funérailles auront lieu à la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, Dieppe N.-B., le mardi, 14 avril, 2009 à 14h.
