Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB. – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucille Bourque, 83, on Saturday, January 26, 2025, at her residence.
Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Placide LeBlanc and the late Lina (Richard) LeBlanc. And the wife of the late Roger Bourque (1999).
Lucille liked to work outdoors in her garden and her flower beds.
She is survived by her four sons: Danny (Diane), Kevin (Annie) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Brian of Bouctouche, and Ricky (Joline) of Edmonton, AB; her two sisters: Angie (late Denis) Doucet of Leominster, MA, and Huguette (Fernand) Arsenault of Florida; and her brothers: Clarence (Late Nathalie) LeBlanc of Ste-Marie-de-Kent, Léo LeBlanc of Montreal, and Paul-Émile (late Jeannette) LeBlanc of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent.
He also leaves his three grandchildren, Randy, Linda, and Jamie; five great-grandchildren, Angèle, Evander, Alyssa, Skylie, and Akira; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband Roger Bourque (1999), she is predeceased by her sisters Elva, Viola, Clairisse, and Stella (January 24, 2025)

Visitation will be held at Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m.
