In Loving Memory Of
Lucille Gaudet
1934 ~ 2023

Dieppe, N.-B – It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lucille Gaudet, 89, that occurred on November 20th, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital in Moncton.

Born in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Anselme LeBlanc and the late Hélène (Léger) LeBlanc.

Lucille worked as bookkeeper for her husband’s business for many years until his passing in 1986. Before her illness, she enjoyed watching tv, playing cards, dancing, knitting, jigsaw puzzles, sewing, and cheering for the Montreal Canadians. Her family was very important to her, and she always thought of others before herself.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Paulette (Normand) Gautreau, Joceline (Guy) Surette, and Marc Gaudet all three of Dieppe; her two granddaughters: Lise (Doug) Harper of Dieppe, and Julie (Jules) Léger of Bouctouche; her great-grandchild, Drew Harper; her siblings: Antoinette (Ronald) Gautreau of Memramcook, Yvonne (Hubert) Gauvin of Dieppe, Victor (late Marie-Claire) LeBlanc of Moncton, Bernadette Gauvin of Dieppe, and Paul-Alfred (Linda) LeBlanc of Dieppe; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Fernando Gaudet (1986); her son, Guy Gaudet (1965); and her brother, Gerard (late Thérèse) LeBlanc (2006).

Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Saturday, November 25th, from 9 to 11 am only. Funeral service will follow on the same day at 11 am at the Passage-Chartersville Funeral Chapel. Interment will be held in the Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe.
