Moncton – Magella “Mike” Gagnon, 79, passed away, on Tuesday, March 1st, 2022, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in St-Damas, QC, he was the son of the late Paul and the late Marie-Louise Gagnon.
Prior to retirement, M. Gagnon was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. After retiring from the forces, he worked as a civilian at the military base in Moncton. He also worked as a bus driver for Moncton City Transit until 2013.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Joanne Darveau; his daughter, Michelle Taylor-Danks (Jay) of Quispamsis; his grandchildren: Sarah and Tyler; his sister, Marie-Paule Fraser (Jean-Baptiste) of Pointe-à-la-Croix, QC; his brother, Camille Gagnon (Julienne) of Quebec, QC, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by several sisters and brothers.
At the family’s request, no visitation and funeral service will be held.
