Born in Restigouche Co., she was the daughter of the late Leslie and the late Angelina Flanagan (nee Gallant)
Malvina worked in the war plants in Montreal during the war and there she met her darling Ken when he returned from overseas. Being married to a navy man meant that she travelled the world. She was very artistic and an accomplished painter, seamstress, decorator, and cook. Her family will greatly miss her smiles, happy spirit, and the love she abundantly shared during her time with us.
She leaves to mourn her daughter, Christina; her son, Kenny Guthrie; her grandchildren Sara, Jane and Susan Ehrhardt, Kevin, Graeme and Ellen Guthrie, her sisters, Viola Mahoney and Myrtle Adams; her daughter-in-law, Jane Ogilvie and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Kenneth; her son, Robert Guthrie; her sisters, Mildred, Muriel, and Sara; her brothers, Leslie, Edward and Herbert.
In keeping with Malvina`s wishes there will be no service or visitation at the funeral home. Internment will take place at the Campbellton Rural Cemetery.
