In Loving Memory Of
Marc “Fer” Gaudet
1967 ~ 2026

Dieppe, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Marc Gaudet, 59, that occurred on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, at his residence.

Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Fernando Gaudet and the late Lucille (LeBlanc) Gaudet.

Marc worked at Mabe as a Home Deliveries Relations Manager for 30 plus years, and every Saturday morning, he worked at the Dieppe Market for his friend Don, where he was warmly regarded by regular customers who always took the time to stop and say hello.

He loved to watch all sports, especially his Montreal Canadians. His contagious smile, quick wit, and sense of humor made every occasion brighter. Rarely did Marc fail to attend Friday night dinners with his family, a longstanding tradition that was cherished by all for many years. His absence will be felt by so many whose lives he touched.

His passing will be profoundly mourned by his two sisters, Paulette (Norm) Gautreau, and Joceline (Guy) Surette, both of Dieppe; his two nieces: Lise (Doug) Harper of Dieppe, and Julie (Jules) Leger of Bouctouche; and his godson, Drew Harper.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Guy (1965).

Visitation will be held at Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative, 363 Amirault St, Dieppe, NB, 506-857-1901, on Friday, July 31st, from 9 to 11 am, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 11 am.

The family invites you to sign a book of condolences at: www.funerairepassagefuneral.ca.

  1. To the entire family, we are so extremely sorry for your loss. Marc was a great man who always was trying to help others! His infectious laugh was known by all. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten. …Don and Marsha Hache

Cheers, bon voyage Fer. Tu vas nous manquer énormément. 🍺💙

  24. I don’t know where to begin. Marc was one of my closest friends. I am so happy that we had 20 years of friendship. And what great memories to be able to look back on. Oysterjigger days, making plans for when we would take home the numerous lotto pools we were in. And i’ll miss our daily emails, especially “any plans for the weekend ?” Pete and Ruby will miss the best belly rubs from Mononcle Marc. He really was one of a kind. I may just have to root for the Habs now. My deepest condolences go out to his whole family.

  35. Paulette et Jocelyne,
I just saw that your brother passed. I can’t believe it is true. I got to see you guys at the restaurant where you guys stated you were all meeting every Friday nights. I saw Marc here and there and knew he was your brother because he looked like both of you. I remember when you lost Guy and I remember when Marc was born since my little brother was also born at the same time. I will remember his smile, his laugh and know that you guys are in my prayers.

  43. I still can not believe Marc is gone. My best memories of Marc was the Summers. No school, and during the week, ma tante Lucille, Marc in the passenger seat., I can’t remember the name of the car, it was push button, I think maybe a Voxol probably not the good spelling. We were always outside, having nothing but the best times. Then the weekend came around, packed a small bag because we were going to the cottage ma tante Lucille and Uncle Fer had, in 4 weeks I could usually stay there 2 nighs. The day we found the power and the courage to go see and get his autograph,…. guess who???? The one and the only KILLER CARL KRUPP. We never thought, I mean he was the one and only. Marc and I we were in everything and enjoyed every minute of it. If he could spend the night, all afternoons and evenings were spent behind or inside the War Surplus Store.
Marc in my heart was and will be until we meet again, and I’m sure he will be laughing and having the best the ways he could. LOVE YOU COUSIN

  46. Such tragic news. I worked with Marc at Camco many many years ago. He was a great guy. So sorry for everybody’s loss. You’ll be missed by many Marc.

  47. A week later and I’m still devasted, shocked and heartbroken 💔

How can life be so cruel. The world needed MORE Gaudet… not less. Just like our buddy Norm. How can it be both of you are gone. It doesn’t make sense… it never will make sense.

Hope you knew howuch joy and laughter you brought to all of us.
We started working together in April 1994 and we’ve been friends ever since.
Our Camco/ mabe Igloo breakfasts or gatherings will never be the same.
You’ll be missed for eternity… jut hopefully we’ll meet again someday.

Mes sincères sympathies à ta famille, surtout tes soeurs, nieces & neveu.
Ont v’a toute tellement te manquer 😢

Repose en Paix mon ami ❤️
