Marcel Caissie, 39, of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at home on Thursday August 13, 2020. He was married to Mona (Thibodeau) Caissie. Born in Fredericton, he was the son of Anne-Marie (Maillet) Caissie of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent and the late Claude Caissie (2017).
He was the general manager at Country Camper in McIntosh Hill.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Mona, his three children; Célina, Alex and Marco all at home, his mother; Anne-Marie Caissie (Arsène Richard) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, his paternal grandmother; Lizianne (Richard) Caissie of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, his parents-in-law; Alban and Noella Thibodeau of Richiboucto-Village, brother-in-law; Roger (Sabrina) of Saint-Antoine, one nephew Liam and one niece and goddaughter Brielle. He also leaves his godchildren; Marc-André Saulnier, Janel Caissie and Isabel LeBlanc.
He was predeceased by his paternal grand-father; Valmond Caissie and his maternal grand-parents; Gerald and Léa Maillet.
Due to the pandemic, private visitations and a private funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche at a later date. Interment will be in the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent parish cemetery.
