St-André-LeBlanc, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Margarita “Margot” Griguel, on Thursday, September 24th, 2026.
Born in Montreal, QC, she was the beloved daughter of Svetlana “Lana” Griguel.
She is survived by her loving mother, Lana Griguel; by her fiance, Luke Matzen; by her precious daughter, Claire Matzen; by her step-son, Jack Matzen; by her brother, Alexandre Dorion; by her maternal grandparents: Nina and Igor Griguel; by her step-father, Louis-André Dorion; by her parents-in-law: Sandra and Clive Matzen; by her brothers-in-law: Anthony and Jacob Matzen and by her special friends: Donald and Bernice Goguen.
Visitation will be held from Centre St-André-LeBlanc, 932 St-André Road, St-André-LeBlanc, on Thursday, October 1st, 2026, from 6 pm to 6:50 pm, followed by a Celebration of Margot’s life at 7 pm, with Monette Gould officiating.
