Marguerite Cormier, 74, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Dr Georges-L. Dumont UHC, Moncton on Saturday July 13, 2019. She was married to the late Arthur Cormier (2012). Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Regis and the late Jeanne (LeBlanc) Caissie.
She will be sadly missed by her four children; Maria Cormier, Della Cormier (Steve Lavoie) of Bouctouche, Annette LeBlanc (Lionel) of Grande-Digue and Arthur Jr. Despres (Lisa) of Moncton, her seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her two sisters; Pauline Cormier (Jean-Claude) of Bouctouche, Dorice Léger of Moncton and her brother Jean-Paul (Alida) of Moncton as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one daughter, Thérèse (2018), one sister Thérèse and one brother Alonzo.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday July 16, 2019 from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 1 to 3:15 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday July 17, 2019 at 3:30 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Marguerite’s memory, donations may be made to the family.
