Cap-Pelé, NB – Marguerite Cormier, 89, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 10th, 2012.
Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mélendé (LeBlanc) Fougère.
Marguerite will be sadly missed by her daughters, Loretta Cormier (late Roméo) Enna Boudreau and Denise Donelle (Roger), all of Cap-Pelé, NB, Nicole Duhaime (Henry) of Mattawa, ON, Anne Cormier of Barachois, NB; her sons, Jean Louis (Lucille) of St. André, NB, Oscar (Gloria) of Kitchener, ON, France (Lydia) of Cap-Pelé, NB, Maurice (Lori) of Lakeville, NB; her sisters, Anita East of Rouyn Noranda, QC, Marie Jeanne Richard of East Hartford, USA, Maria Landry (Arthur) of Cap-Pelé, NB; her sisters-in-law, Alexina Fougère, Anna Fougère, both of Cap-Pelé NB, Armande Fougère of Shediac, NB, Hectorine Boudreau of Barachois, NB; her brother-in-law, Aimé Cormier of Cap-Pelé, NB; by her 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Marguerite was predeceased by her husband, Robert Cormier; her son, Bertin; her brothers, Adrien, Laurie and Alphée.
* CORRECTIONS *
Visitations will be held at the Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Slumber Room in Cap-Pelé on Saturday, December 15th, 2012 from 9:00am until time of the funeral service which will take place at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Slumber Room at 11:00am.
Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) or to Centre d’Habileté du Sud Est in Cap-Pelé would be appreciated by the family.
