Moncton, NB – It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our sister Marguerite at the Faubourg du Mascaret in Moncton on January 8, 2022.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Poirier and the late Léoline Melanson.
Spending most of her adult life in Leominister, Mass., she was passionate about caring for the elderlies. Always carrying a camera, she took many pictures of family, friends and many travels.
Marguerite is survived by her sister, Léoline (Roderic) Cyr; brothers, Gerald and Robert; as well as eleven nephews and nieces that she cherished.
Other than her parents, she was predeceased by her stepmother, Rosana Landry; brothers, Gerald and Omer; sisters, Sr. Dorice, Sr. Sylvia, Rita and Helene.
There will be no vistitation and no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

Marguerite, you were truly part of our family. How I wish we could have said our goodbyes before you left Leominster. I did write you a letter awhile back filling you in on what was going on in our lives. I wish we could have remained in contact. I know that past years were difficult for you and now may you Rest In Peace. ❤️?
