In Loving Memory Of
Maria Landry
1930 ~ 2022

Cap-Pelé, NB- Maria Landry, of Cap-Pelé passed away on Tuesday July 5^th, 2022 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center at the age of 91.

Born in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and the late Melendé Fougère (LeBlanc).

Maria is survived by her six sons: Jean-Paul (Patsy) of Cap-Pelé, Marcel (Annette) of Dieppe, Rhéal, Omer (Diane), Regis and Daniel (Chantale) all of Cap-Pelé; her four daughters: Helene (Anne), Gisèle (Gordon) Gallant, Lucie (Elmer) and Mona, all of Cap-Pelé; her fifteen grandchildren: Michel, Natalie, Chantale, Renée, Marc, Renelle, Rémi, Jules, Venessa, Reggie, Christien, Patrick, Jesse, Isabelle and Justin; her eighteen great-grandchildren, as well as her two great-great-grandchildren.

She was the last survivor of her family, and was predeceased by her husband Arthur (2018); her daughter Yvette (1986); child Joseph; her three brothers: Laurie, Adrien and Alphée; her three sisters: Marguerite, Anita and Marie-Jeanne.

The family would like to thank Jeannette and Julie for their exceptional care, as well as the staff of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center and the ambulance team.

Visitations will be held in the slumber room of Sainte-Thérèse d’Avila RC Church (1-2648 Acadie road, Cap-Pelé) on Friday, July 8^th, 2022 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, July 9^th from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. The funeral will take place on Saturday, July 9^th, 2022 at 11:00 am in the church.

Donations in memory of Maria can be made to the Alzheimer Society (New Brunswick) or to the Boîte a lunch.
