Maria Metti, 91, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Monfumo, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Fortunato and the late Drusiana (née: Sagrilo) Cadorin.
Mrs. Metti enjoyed gardening; a passion of hers was the cultivation of her flowers and raisins. She was a member of Sainte-Thérèse parish.
She is survived by five daughters: Gianinna (late Paul) Babineau, Gilda (Kenny) Little, Floriana LeBlanc (Norm), Bepina (Ron) Richard and Santina (Rob) Henry; one son, Basilio "Buzz" (Ann); several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Tredicesimo in 2005; one son, Floriano and also by several brothers and sisters.
No visitation prior to the service.
A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901) on Friday, January 24th, 2020 at 11:30 am.
Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe.
Donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
Au Centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le mardi 21 janvier 2020, à l’âge de 91 ans, est décédé Maria Metti. Elle demeurait à Dieppe au Nouveau-Brunswick.
Née à Monfumo, Italie, elle était fille de feu Fortunato et de feu Drusiana (née Sagrilo) Cadorin.
Mme Metti adorait son jardin, elle avait une passion pour cultivé ses fleurs et ses raisins. Elle était membre de la paroisse Sainte-Thérèse.
Elle laisse dans le deuil cinq filles: Gianinna (feu Paul) Babineau, Gilda (Kenny) Little, Floriana LeBlanc (Norm), Bepina (Ron) Richard et Santina (Rob) Henry; un fils, Basilio “Buzz” (Ann); plusieurs petits-enfants, arrière-petits-enfants, arrière-arrière-petits-enfants et arrière-arrière-arrière-petits-enfants, ainsi que beaucoup de neveux et nièces.
Son époux, Tredicesimo en 2005; un fils, Floriano ainsi que plusieurs sœurs et frères, l’ont précédée dans la tombe.
Aucune visite avant les funérailles.
Une Célébration de la Parole aura lieu en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, le vendredi 24 janvier 2020 à 11h30.
