Moncton, NB – Mom today we said goodbye, you passed away peacefully at 88 with the presence of your loving family, on Thursday, November 19th , 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in St-Norbert, NB, she was the daughter of the late Maxime and the late Aurore Vautour (nee LeBlanc).
Maria will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 68 years, Yvon Roy; her children, Dorine Roy of Moncton, Florence Roy and Marcel Roy both of Dieppe; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Michel), Nikos (Sonia), Sébastien and Jean-Daniel; her great grandchildren, Alexandre, Julien, Nicholas and Samuel; her siblings, Léo (late Rita) of St-Anselme, Armand (Carol) of Minto, Patricia Madore (Donnie) and Claudette Cormier (Tommy) both of Moncton; also by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her two sisters, Jeannette (teenager) and Noëlla (Burns).
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions and in respect to Maria’s wishes, a Funeral Mass will be held for the immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory can be made to the Hospice of Greater Moncton.
