Moncton, NB – Marianne Porter, 58, passed away suddenly at the Moncton Hospital, and went home to Jesus, on Sunday, March 17, 2019.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Laurie and Frances DesRoches (nee Hope).
Marianne will be sadly missed by her children, Holly (Eugene) Steeves, Jenny-Lynn and Jesse; her siblings, Donna (Ron) Bordage and Gary; her legacy will live on in her 10 grandchildren.
She was a survivor, wife, mother, nanny, auntie and cat lover. Marianne was fierce as a lion when it came to caring for Makayla, she loved summers and her sister’ heated pool. She was a member of Highfield Baptist Church where she and Makayla never missed a Sunday service
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel (625 Mountain Rd, Corner West Lane, Moncton), on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 10 am until time of celebration of life at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers. A donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
