Shediac River, NB – Marie-Anne (Yvonne) Babineau, 75, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, July 15, 2016, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Shediac Bridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Amédée and Viola (Petitpas) Gallant.

Marie-Anne will be sadly missed by her four sons, Rhéal (Joanne), Normand (Pitou) (Alphonsine), Arthur (Kim) and Emery all of Shediac River; her two daughters, Claudette Babineau and Anne Babineau both of Moncton; her two brothers, Normand (Noëlla) of Grande-Digue and Léo (Précille) of Shediac Bridge; her two sisters, Géraldine Bourgeois (Fernand) of Shediac Bridge and Angela Gallant (late Frank) of Shediac River; her two sisters-in-law, Anita and Léa both of Dieppe; her five grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa, James, Tegan and Deklan; her two great grandchildren, Riker and Zalek; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond (1998); one daughter, Rachelle (2009); three brothers, Laurie, Ronald and Emile.

Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitation on Tuesday morning. Funeral mass will be held at the La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 11 am.

Donations to the Chu Dumont Foundation (Dialysis), the Canadian Kidney Foundation or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
