Marie Babineau, 88, of Notre-Dame, passed away peacefully at the UHC Dr. Georges-L. Dumont, Moncton on Tuesday December 5, 2023. She was married to the late Paul Babineau (2019). Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Bibienne (Dallaire) Saulnier.
She will be sadly missed by her three children; Lynne Babineau of Notre-Dame, Paul Jr. (Rosée) of Grande-Digue, Bernard (Angela) of Notre-Dame, her three grandchildren; Emily, Luc (Mélanie) and Alex (Roxanne) as well as one great grandchild; Vincent. She also leaves to mourn her sister; Alice Babineau of Notre-Dame, one brother; Freddy (Angela) of Saint-Antoine and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one sister; Alvina and five brothers; Eddy, Alyre, Emile, Gerard and Edgar.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame on Thursday December 7, 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:45 am. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Notre-Dame Church on Thursday December 7, 2023 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Marie’s memory, donations may be made to the CHU DUMONT Foundation.
