Grande-Digue, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother. Marie Caissie at the age of 77, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, December 12, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clovis and Ida (Brun) Vautour.
Marie will be sadly missed by her four sons, Clovis (Anne-Marie), Alfred (Jeannette), Bertin (Yvette), and Ronald (James) with whom she resided, all of Grande-Digue; her three daughters, Francine Leger (late Edgar 2013) and Ida Leger (Alyre) both of Grande-Digue, Rachel Cormier (Pierre) of Cocagne; her two brothers, Alfred (Murielle) and Antoine (Délia) both of Cap-Pelé; her five sisters, Yvonne Bourque (late Alcide) of Cap-Pelé, Anna Caissie (late Éloi) of Shediac, Jeannette LeBlanc (late Ovila), Exelda Boudreau (Albertin) and Aline Vautour all of Cap-Pelé; her eight grandchildren, Sébastien, Mélanie, Stéphane, Lisa, Emmanuel, Julie, Sylvie and Josée; her six great grandchildren, Leah, Emelie, Khloé, Colin, Arielle and Mathis; also by several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Emmanuel (1984); one brother, Yvon; one sister, Dorina.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Sunday, December 14, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitations on Monday. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue on Monday, December 15, at 2 pm. Reception to follow.
Donations to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
