It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie DesRoches, 84, on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023, at the Villa Du Repos in Moncton.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Levi and the late Dora Bastarache (Gallant).
Marie will be sadly missed by her sons: Armand Vautour (Brenda Bastarache) of St-Philippe, Ed Vautour of St-Philippe, Livi Vautour of Toronto, Rick Vautour (Diane Cormier) of Moncton, and Roger Vautour of Dieppe; two step-sons: Willis (Wendy) LeBlanc of Dieppe and Alyre (Paula) LeBlanc of Oshawa; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; her son-in-law, Frank Tanguay; her sister-in-law and great friend, Obeline Bastarache; her brother-in-law, Albert Landry; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Omer Vautour; her second husband, Alyre DesRoches; her daughter, Murielle Tanguay; her brother, Alfred Bastarache; her sister, Celina Landry; her baby brother, Antoine; as well as her infant brother, Denis.
Visitations will be held at Passage-Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023 from 1:00pm until time of service. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 3:00pm.
