Shediac, NB– Marie Dorice Fournier, 63, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, April 19, 2018, after a brief illness.

Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Édouard and Virginie (nee LeBlanc) Fournier.

Marie will be sadly missed by her son, Jean-Claude Landry (Carrie) of St-Catharines, ON; her daughter, Nancy Landry (Dale) of Quebec; her special friend, Tony; her foster sister, Lota; her grandson, Sheldon; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her foster parents, Élizabeth and Camille Cormier; her five brothers, Yvan, Laurie, Ulysse, Albert and Gerry; two sisters, Thérèse and Rita.

Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 2pm until time of funeral service at Passage Chapel at 4 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
