In Loving Memory Of
Marie Gaudet
1936 ~ 2023

Dieppe, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie Gaudet, aged 87, on Monday September 4th at the Moncton Hospital. She has gone to join her beloved husband, Aurèle Gaudet.

She will be sadly missed by her 4 children: Denise Pollitt (late Albert), Marise Cormier (Charles), Conrad Gaudet (Bev) and Roland Gaudet (Kathleen); her 6 grandchildren: Julie, Christine, Katherine, Patrick, Monica and Tanya; her 2 great-grandchildren: Dax and Cassandra. She will also be missed by her 6 siblings: Georgeline Leblanc (Rudy), Claudette Landry (late Emery), Jean-Guy Cormier (Yvonne), Léonel Cormier (Armelle), Alphonse Cormier (Cécille) and Euclide Cormier (Paulette); as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was pre deceased by her parents Alyre and Ida(Gaudet) Cormier and siblings Léonce Cormier (late Aline), Rosaline Leblanc (late Ira) and Robert Cormier (Renée).

Marie was a caring, compassionate and generous mother, grandmother and friend who was always selfless with her time and energy. She faced her trials in life with strength and courage. She was well-loved by all those who had the privilege of being in her life.

After a long career in teaching, she enjoyed her retirement spending time with friends and family while also enjoying many social activities and traveling. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards and bowling, knitting, crocheting as well as talking on the phone.

Visitation will be held at the Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Friday, September 8th from 7 to 9 pm only. The celebration of life service will be held at the Passage-Chartersville Funeral Chapel, on Saturday, September 9th at 11 am.

In memory of Marie, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or any preferred charitable organization.
