Shediac River – Marie Gautreau, 59, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 at the Dr. Georges-L.- Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Haute-Aboujagane, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Irène Boudreau (Cormier).
Marie will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Normand Gautreau and her precious daughter, Jessica Gautreau both of Shediac River; her two sisters: Althéa Melanson (late Donat) of Shediac, Stella Belliveau (Paul) of Moncton; her four brothers: Mélas (Elva) of Haute-Aboujagane, Réginald (Marcella), Valeri both of Moncton and Roger of Shediac; her mother-in-law, Aline LeBlanc of Shediac; her two sisters-in-law: Dorine Fleming (Jim) of Shediac and Louise Landry (Tim) of Dieppe; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by her brother, Emery Boudreau.
Marie will also be missed by the staff at Killam Properties Inc. Head Office on 1111 Main Street, Moncton, who she considered her second family after working there for 12 years.
In respect of Marie’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service at the funeral home.
