Marie Germaine Collette, 84 of Sainte-Marie de Kent passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Saturday December 4th, 2010. She was married to the late Maxime Collette (1995). Born in Sainte-Marie de Kent on October 26, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Francois and the late Laura (Bastarache) Albert.
She will be sadly missed by her nine children, Dorina Pellerin (late Emery), Floria LeBlanc (Roger), Osias (Marie-Berthe), Léon (Caroline) all of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Aubrey (Roselma), Alvin (Louiselle), Hervé, all of Bouctouche, Léonard of Leominster, MA, Alfred of Moncton, her nine grandchildren and one great grandson Jérôme. She also leaves to mourn one sister Claira Goguen of Dieppe, and one brother, Eric (Louise) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Fabien and André.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Monday December 6 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be at the Church in Sainte-Marie de Kent on Monday December 6th, 2010 at 7:00pm with internment in the parish cemetery.
