Marie Plourde, 75 of Saint-Antoine and formerly of Toronto and Prince-Edward Island, passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Sunday January 23rd, 2011. She was married to Sylvio Plourde. Born in Bouctouche on September 3rd, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Arsène and the late Emerise (Duplessis) LeBlanc.
She will sadly missed by her husband of 56 years, Sylvio, her six children, Sylvia, Diane, Shirley, Maureen, Robert and Normand, her nine grandchildren, five sisters, Donalda, Irène, Géralda, Ella, Laurise and two brothers, Gérard and Donald. She also leaves to mourn several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Emery, Ronaldo, Léo and Irénée.
At the request of the family there will be no viewing at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Antoine L’Ermite Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine on Wednesday January 26th, 2011 at 11:00 am.
