Shediac, NB – Marjorie Townsend, 80, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, May 2, 2019.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Camille and the late Mame LeBlanc (nee Caissie) .
Marjorie will be sadly missed by her son, Gilles of Shediac; daughters, Josette of Florida and Francine (Gary) of Shediac; daughter-in-law, Tissa; sisters, Nina of Moncton, Alice of Riverview, Camilla of Ottawa and Andréa of Montreal; eleven grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Brody, Robert, Véronique, Céline, Nicholas, Danielle, Marcel, Elyse and Bridget; and one great grandchild, Nolan.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Marc; two sisters,Vera and Pam; her second husband, John William Townsend; and her first husband, Francis Pellerin.
In respect to Marjorie’s wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral service will take place at St-Joseph RC Church in Shediac on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11:00 am.
