Mark Babin

Moncton, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of 48 years old, Mark Joël Babin. Mark succumbed to his long battle with drug addiction on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the Moncton Hospital.

He was the son of the late George Babin. Mark will be sadly missed by his loving mother, Jeannette Babin Petitpas and his step-father: Gérald Petitpas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends.

As per Mark’s wishes, he gave his organ to help others in need. Visitation will be held at Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB (506) 532-1050, on Monday, September 11, 2023 from 1pm to 2pm. A celebration of his life will follow in the Chapel at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Fire Watch Ministries or to a charity of your choice.

  25. I’m going to miss Mark. I used to go there and he was always cooking something so I told him when he graduates he could be a great chef. I called him Marky and he always gave me a hug when I went there. Love you always, Aunt Florence.

    He was a very sweet and caring person that a heart for helping others even in his own struggle.
