Shediac River, NB – Mary Andrée DéDé Murphy, 54, passed away at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, after a courageous two year battle with lung cancer.
Born in Newmarket, ON, she was the daughter of the late David and Évangéline (Deschenes) Desjardins.
DéDé will be sadly missed by her husband, Robert (Bob) Murphy; her son, Tristan of Kingston, ON; her daughter, Chantal Murphy (Mike) of Napanee ON; her brother, David Desjardins of Saint-Constant, QC; her two sisters, Claire Merenda (Guiseppe) of Mascouche, QC and Linda Desjardins of Carleton Place, ON; also by several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
As per request there will be no visitations at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held at the La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11 am.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
