Moncton, NB – Mary Goosmann- Gallant, 64, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, December 19th, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Botesldorf, Mecklenberg-Vorpommern, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Walter Paul Friedrich Adolf and the late Elfriede Regina Goosmann (nee Fidorra).
She is survived by her husband, Maurice Gallant of Moncton; her daughter, Melanie Elfriede Randall (Carman) of Lincoln, NB, her two sons; John Michael Gallant (Lung Thi Pham) of Moncton, NB and Joseph Walter Gallant (Sarah MacLeod) of Fredericton, NB, her sister, Sabine Grothaus (Rolph) of Bergkamen, Germany; her six grandchildren, Selina, Ethan, Isaac, Owain, Emily & Dustin.
The family will welcome friends and family at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2014 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm. Funeral service will be celebrated from Passage Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2014 at 2:00pm.
Donations given to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
