Riverview, NB (formerly of Saint-Marie-de-Kent) – Mary Ida Muise (LeBreton), 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2024.
Born in Chatham, NB, on March 18, 1935, daughter of the late Joseph and the late Margaret LeBreton (Babin).
Survived by four daughters: Ellen Buist (Terry) of ON, Karen MacRae (late Sandy) of Moncton, Shirley Rae (Teresa) of Moncton and Mary Lou of Irishtown; her sister: Shirley Forest (late Bobby) of Chatham and her baby brother: Ray LeBreton (Carol) of Alberta; her grandchildren: Vicki Jenkins, Sheri LeBreton, John-Andrew Murley, Natalie Murley, Alana MacRae, Lisa Muise, Amanda Muise, William “Bill” Findlay, Kiefer Findlay; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband: Andrew Eric Muise; her children: Chrissy, Kevin and Darrel.
Ida had a love for travel, music, bowling, baseball, history and her flowers.
In respect of Ida’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Ida was a wonderful woman, always welcoming. She told me some great stories over the years and always made me feel like family. You will be greatly missed Mama Ida
Lou and family you are in my thoughts in this difficult time. I will always be thankful to have had your Mom in my life growing up. Nobody could make better chicken soup than Ida or keep Lou and I out of trouble with the truant officer. Ida was a quick witted and charming lady with a good heart and I will always love and miss her dearly.
