Pointe-du-Chêne, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Louise Murphy, 81, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, April 15, 2019.
Born in Bridgetown, NS, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and the late Amy Vidoto (born Gillis).
Married to Cameron Murphy for 60 wonderful years, they loved traveling south for the winter. Besides her husband, Mary will be missed by her daughter, Marilyn of Alberta; her sons, Cam (Sherry) of Shediac and Shawn (Angela) of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Lee, Brandon (Dana) both of Alberta, John of Florida, Courtney of Halifax, NS and Anthony of Fredericton; her great-grandchildren, Rachel and Rhyder both of Alberta. Mary also leaves behind a loving brother, Bill and his sister, Barbie both of Picton, ON; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Cathy of Halifax, NS.
Mary was a wonderful mother who’s unconditional love was always in evidence with her family and friends. A kind heart and wonderful sense of humour made for countless memorable moments. If you came to dinner at Mary’s, you had better come hungry. When asked if you wanted more to eat, saying “no” was never an option!
Respecting Mary’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
We, the family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at the Moncton Hospital and the Extra-Mural in Shediac.
The family invites you to sign an online book of condolences at: www.funerairepassagefuneral.ca.
