Moncton, NB – Matthew Douglas Rooney, 37, passed away at the Moncton Hospital, on Saturday, July 22nd, 2017 as a result of an automobile accident.
Born in Moncton, NB, on January 17, 1980, he was the son of Greg and Sandra Rooney.
Matthew worked several years at Cap-Pele Auto Sale as an auto detailer.
Besides his parents, Matthew will be sadly missed by his two sons, Ashton and Morgan; his two brothers, Timothy (Kimberly) of Sydney, Cape-Breton and Jason (Brittany) of Fredericton; his four nephews, one niece; also by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be no visitation and a private service will be held later for family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
