Maurice Olsen

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, he was the son of the late Harry and Anna (née Hébert) Olsen.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Évelyne Foëx; his daughter, Léa (Léonard Valiquette); his son, Florian (Gaëlle Vanbrugghe); and his granddaughter, Charlotte; his sister, Marlene Brent (Wayne); his brothers, Eugene (Irene), Clifford, Rolly and Lawrence (Cindy) from Edmonton, Alberta, as well as their families.

During his career with Radio-Canada Television up until his retirement in 2000, he directed a number of musical variety shows, including Rock, Pop et Relax, Musikotrip and Country Centreville.

We are grateful to the medical staff and nurses for the outstanding care they provided him with. A donation can be made to the CHU Dumont Foundation in memory of Maurice.

A commemorative gathering will take place on Thursday, January 11th, from 7 to 9 pm, at Passage Funeral Chapel in Moncton, 625 Mountain Road (corner of West Lane).
