Moncton, NB – May Cox, 77, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, on Wednesday, November 11, 2015.

Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Rosaire and the late Lina (LeBlanc) Bourque.

May cherished life, whether she was making pies, cross country skiing, playing cards, snowshoeing, picking fiddleheads, camping, going on drives, watching her garden grow or hosting gatherings, she was happiest when she was around the people she loved.

May is survived by her children, Don and Dale Cox of Cocagne, Patty Cox of Shediac, Cathy Cox-Hope of Moncton, extended family, Carolyn Currie of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Stephanie Drisdelle (Michel), Emily Hope, Tess Cox and extended family Ryan Currie; her brothers and sisters, Alderic Bourque (Isabelle), Florida Breau (Roger), Andre Bourque (Rose), Suzanne Bourgeois (Leopold), Albertine Johnson (Michel) all of Cocagne, Leo-Paul Bourque (Gertrude) of Bouctouche, Stella Bonello (Tony), Yvette Theriault (Fern) both of Ontario, Gerald Bourque of St. George, Rhéal Bourque (Muriel) of Moncton and Bernard Bourque of Saint John; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John (Jack) Cox earlier this year; two brothers, George and Donald Bourque.

Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road corner West Lane, Moncton on Saturday, November 28, 2015, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10 am.

Donations to the The Friends of the Moncton Hospital (Oncology Department) would be appreciated by the family.
