Médard LeBlanc, 52, of Memramcook, passed away on Monday, January 1st, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Vital and the late Dorice (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Prior to his illness, Médard had worked 29 years as a machine operator for Sherwood Furniture. His hobbies included furniture making and gardening. He also enjoyed his Sunday drives with friends and was a member of Saint-Thomas Parish.
He is survived by four sisters: Rachelle (Jean-Marcel) Daigle of Pointe-Sapin, Jeanita (Ovila) Cormier of Old Shediac Rd., Dénise (Jérôme) LeBlanc of La Montain and Azèle (Léo) Robichaud of Cormier’s Cove; four brothers: Noël (Annette) of Dieppe, Jean-Paul (Simonne Girouard) of La Montain, Léo-Paul (Denise Leger) of Saint-Joseph and Roger (Charline) of La Montain; his girlfriend, Nicole Caissie; several nieces and nephews; special friends: Léon-Guy and Armand as well as his two cats: Ti-Gris and Misti.
Besides his parents; he was predeceased by one infant brother, Roger.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm ONLY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Thomas Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook, on Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at 11 am.
Interment in Saint-Thomas Parish Cemetery, Memramcook.

Né à Moncton, N.-B., il était fils de feu Vital et de feu Dorice (née LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Avant sa maladie; Médard à travaillé pendant 29 ans pour Sherwood Furniture. Il aimait construire des meubles, randonné avec ses amis le dimanche, la nature et très fière de son jardin. Il était membre de la paroisse Saint-Thomas.
Il laisse dans le deuil quatres soeurs: Rachelle (Jean-Marcel) Daigle de Pointe-Sapin, Jeanita (Ovila) Cormier de Old Shediac Rd., Dénise (Jérôme) LeBlanc de La Montain et Azèle (Léo) Robichaud de Cormier’s Cove; quatres frères: Noël (Annette) de Dieppe, Jean-Paul (Simonne Girouard) de La Montain, Léo-Paul (Denise Leger) de Saint-Joseph et Roger (Charline) de La Montain; son amie spéciale, Nicole Caissie; plusieurs neveux et nièces; ses amis: Léon-Guy et Armand ainsi que ses chats: Ti-Gris and Misti.
Outre ses parents; un frère, bébé Roger l’à précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, (857-1901), le vendredi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h SEULEMENT.
La messe des funérailles aura lieu en l’église Saint-Thomas, Memramcook, le samedi 6 janvier 2018, à 11h.
L’inhumation se fera au Cimetière Paroissial Saint-Thomas, Memramcook.
Un don à la Société Sclérose Latérale Amyotrophique serait apprécié par la famille.
