Michel “Mike” Hébert, age 61, of Bouctouche passed away after a lengthy illness, at the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Friday December 28th, 2007. Born in Bouctouche on March 30th, 1946, he was the son of the late Willie and the late Leonore (Née Allain) Hébert.
Mike is survived by two daughters; Nicole Hébert (Joey Allain) of Saint-Joseph de Kent, Tina Hébert (Patrick Quinn) of Richiboucto, one son; Roger (Gisèle) of Bouctouche, his former wife, and mother of his children Thérèse Cormier, five grandchildren; Laurie Jr., Shanny, Katelynn, Bruno, Marco, four sisters; Lorraine Goguen (Rhéal), Simonne Surette (Gilles), Rina Cormier (Alcide), Gisèle LeBlanc (Raymond) all of Bouctouche, two brothers; Maurice (Gisèle) of Sainte-Anne de Kent, Raymond “Pit” of Bouctouche, and also several nephews and nieces.
Mike was predeceased by one sister Huberte (2006).
He was employed with Mills Seafood, Bouctouche for 14 years.
Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Sunday December 30th, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Monday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday December 31st, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
