Notre-Dame, NB – Michel “Mike” Léger, 72, of Notre-Dame passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.
Born in Dieppe, he was the son of the late Gérard and the late Albina (Melanson) Léger.
Michel will be sadly missed by his surviving family and friends. His wife Paulette; stepdaughter Lynne (Marc) Dastou; two Grandchildren: Louis and Marin; two brothers Alonzo (Alicia) and Gilles Léger; his sister Charline (David) Surette; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Suzanne.
Michel was a graduate of the Moncton University. He worked in sales for Sears and Leon’s for 50 years and was a professional cabinet finisher. He had a great sense of humour and was considered the mayor of Babineau Place.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Michel’s memory can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Had the privilege of working for several yrs with Mike at Leons , he was a wonderful, humorous, and very honest guy to work with..We shared many laughs together and numerous staff get-togethers out at his cottage , our deepest sympathies go out to all his family including Vi on his passing, a loss for all of us who loved and knew him ❤
