It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Miguel «Mig» Ernest Poirier, who passed away on January 10, 2024 at the age of 22. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Jean-Marc and Charline (Gray) Poirier.
At the age of 22, he has touched many. His kindness, manifested in a deep gentleness, created a warm atmosphere. His bright smile and natural charm were a source of joy for his athletic teammates and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Miguel’s generosity knew no bounds, but he stood out for his altruism and his desire to do well in this world. He has touched so many people during his short stay with us.
He will be sadly missed by his parents; Jean-Marc and Charline Poirier of Saint-Antoine, his sister; Danie Martin of Moncton, his brother; Gabriel of Saint-Antoine and his niece Ellie. He also leaves to mourn his maternal grandparents; Ernest and Angela Gray of Saint-Louis, his paternal grandparents; Fernand and Gilberte Poirier of Aldouane as well as several uncles, aunts and cousins as well as all of his many friends.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Wednesday January 17 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Antoine Church on Wednesday January 17 2024 at 7:00 pm.
In Miguel’s memory, donations may be made to the homeless people.
